Standing by the door leading into the MacGeret residence, Emilia tried to control her nerves. She had made up her mind to come clean about everything in regards to why Adam was shot. She had not wanted anything to do with Cross so she had instructed Diego to just hand him over to the authority, together with the evidence they received thanks to Silva.
All Emilia wanted at that particular moment was for it all to end. For Adam to be out of the hospital, for everything that she did to Max and his friends to be a thing of the past. She did not want to disappoint Mama Gladys but she had a feeling that she was going to do just that.
“You have to walk into the house, Emilia,” Shaw commented from behind her. He was carrying her bag in one hand while the other was on the hilt of his gun.
