Emilia stood up and stretched her tightened muscles. It was way after six when she finally decided to call it a day. Because of the scandal that had unfolded, she was forced to send emails to explain her situation and assure all her clients that all the allegations against her were false and that her family’s affairs did not interfere with the quality of work that her company produced.
There were a few who wanted to have a one on one meeting with her to see if they were going to proceed with her while others took her word for it and assured her nothing had changed from their end.
Collecting her purse, she quickly sent a text to Shaw telling him she was ready to head out before calling Jean. “Hi, I am on my way to your house now,” she stated once the call was connected.
