Emilia did not sleep well that night, and it showed when she finally walked into the kitchen the next morning. Theodora frowned with worry when she saw and shook her head. “You are overthinking things again, Mia,” Theodora stated she she quickly filled a cup with Emilia’s favorite coffee and placed it before her. She then crossed her arms and studied her. “Shaw did not tell me anything other than we are having a visitor today.” Emilia gave her a small forced smile and took a much-needed sip of her coffee. “I hope to get to the bottom of one thing today, that’s for sure.” Theodora reached out and gave her a small squeeze, “whatever it is, I am sure it will work out well.
