I prepared to gather my things to go downstairs. I gave Lily instructions on what she should do while I was outside.
In the elevator, I felt a little nervous, and my hands started to sweat. The first two times, I went to each appointment alone. Today, it felt different. Now that Alex was with me, I wouldn't feel so alone anymore.
The elevator doors opened, and I walked into the building's massive glass entrance.
