ALEX. Elizabeth was by my side as we watched the moonlight. I don't know how we ended up on a garden lounger. We haven't said another word. The silence accompanies the countless sensations I'm feeling, and I've never felt so calm and comfortable with someone before. It's the first time this has happened to me; kisses are our language now. I caress her back, and she has her hand on my chest. I smell the scent of her hair; it relaxes me. I never thought it would happen, but here she is by my side. I don't know how long we've been here, and I could stay all night, but I think she'd be better off in bed. I kiss her forehead to get her attention, but she doesn't move, and her breathing is slow. I realize she's fallen asleep. I smile and adjust myself to hold her more comfortably in my arms. S
