“Do you have everything?” Mrs. Sins asked the guys. “Make sure you do because once we leave from here, your s**t will be gone.”
Kian sat at the table, yawning and ready to get some sleep. Mrs. Sins walked over to her son and ruffled the long, thick black hair that sat on the top of his head. He turned his greenish-blue eyes to his mother and he gave her a smile.
“I loved your performance.” She said. “I loved every one of yours. You guys did your thing.`”
“Thanks, Mrs. Sins.” Vince said.
“What didn’t you like?” Logan said.
She crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow at Logan. Even Kian looked at Logan for that dumbass question.
“Yes, let’s talk about that.” Mrs. Sins said. “First, that bimbo that jumped on the stage that hugged on you like that was a real disappointment. I keep telling you guys those are not supposed to happen.”
“I know, mom. I didn’t tell her to do it, though. She did it herself.”
“Yes. Also, another concern. Those passes were for both men and women. Why is it that you always invite women only?”
“We feel weird inviting men into our room.” Dante told her. “People are going to think that we’re gay.”
“f**k that.” Logan said. “I like p***y only.”
“Same here.” Kian said. “I love to hear a female moaning from my c**k. Not a f*****g d**k dweller."
Vince laughed and Mrs. Sins shook her head at them.
“Do you know that your fanbase is majority men. 80% men and 20% women. So, I’m sorry, but if you keep doing that, you're going to start losing that 80% and you don't want that to happen."
“Ugh.” Kian huffed.
“That’s just… Sad.” Doug said.
“It’s not sad.” Mrs. Sins said. “It’s rock ‘n roll, guys. Men are more connected to rock ‘n roll than the women are.”
The bus driver, Mr. Stevens, got up from his seat and headed over to the group.
“Are you guys ready to leave?” He asked.
“I’m sorry, give me a minute.” Mrs. Sins said to him. “I’ll be staying behind as my husband will be pulling up and he has some lyrics for you guys.”
“Dad’s coming by?” Kian asked.
“Yes, he is.”
Kian rolled his eyes and put his head down on the table, turning to the window.
“Kian, don’t do that. You know your father came to every one of your last dates.”
“To be honest, I don’t care if he showed or not.”
Mrs. Sins ruffled her son’s hair, annoying him, completely.
“Mom, I’m 26 years old. Stop doing that.”
“Whatever. Anyways, I’ll be back with your father."
She walked off the bus and Kian turned to Vince, shaking his head.
“That is your old man.” Vince said.
“Man, f**k him.” Kian said.
Kian and his father never saw eye to eye. Just like his mother, his father wanted his son to settle down and find the right girl. Someone decent instead of the sluts he had been f*****g for years.
“I wonder what new lyrics he got for you.” Dante said, sitting at the table across from Kian and flipping his drumsticks around.
“It better not be sad.” Kian sighed.
Mr. Stevens opened the door to the bus and Kian’s father walked on with Mrs. Sins right behind him.
“How are you guys doing?” He asked the band.
“Yo, Mr. Sins.” Dante raised his drumsticks at Kian’s father and nodded his head. “We missed you at the concert, man!”
“I’m sorry; I had things to handle.” Mr. Sins told them. “I’ll be at the next one.”
Mrs. Sins turned her eyes to her son who was not happy at all with his father. When his eyes met hers, she shook her head at him. She knew how her son got when it came to him and his father’s relationship.
“Your mom said your performance was really good.” Mr. Sins said to his son.
“Yeah, it was.” Kian said. “ You missed a hell of a show.”
“I’ll make the next one.”
“We’ll see.”
Vince and the rest of the band turned to Kian. Mr. Sins exhaled deeply before he handed a paper packet that had lyrics from different songs on them.
“While you’re on tour, I want you to practice these songs.” Mr. Sins said to Kian. “They will be for your new album.”
Kian cleared his throat while taking the packet from his father’s hand. Mr. Sins raised an eyebrow at his son. He noticed something about his voice. It was going out due to all of the screaming during tour. Mr. Sins turned to his wife.
“He needs his voice checked out when he gets to Cincinnati.” Mr. Sins said.
“I’m fine.” Kian said, clearing his throat again.
“I’ll call Dr. Mishu right now.” Mrs. Sins said, taking her phone out of her pocket.
She walked away to make the call and Mr. Sins turned to his son.
“Who was that girl that was all over you on the stage?” He asked him.
“Just a fan.” Kian said.
“Well, I hired extra security for your remainder dates. That better not happen again.”
“You act like I did it. She just jumped on me. The security guard was the one who lost her.”
Mrs. Sins walked back to the group.
“Dr. Mishu will come to check you out in Cincinnati.” Mrs. Sins said. “But in the meantime, he says to calm your voice.”
“Okay.” Kian said.
“We’re going to go and let you guys get to Cincinnati.” Mr. Sins said.
“Alright.” Logan said.
Mr. and Mrs. Sins walked off the bus and Mr. Stevens closed the door.
“Are you guys ready?” He asked us.
Kian’s phone vibrated inside of his black, ripped jeans and he pulled it out. He glanced down at the text message that was received and he smiled when he saw that it was Nikki.
“Hey, can I have some company?” Kian asked.
“I’m not dropping nobody off.” Stevens said.
“You don’t have to.”
“Fine.”
Kian texted her back and a minute later, she came on the bus with a couple of her friends. The ones who left the concert with her. She smiled at Kian as she sat next to him at the table, putting her black backpack on her lap. The other two came for Logan, Doug and Dante. Vince was the only fifth wheel, but he didn’t care. He wasn’t worried about anybody else since he met April.
“Is somebody going to pick you up, sweetheart?” Stevens asked.
“You can go ahead and leave.” Nikki told him. “My mom is following us.”
“She knows you’re on here?”
“Yes. She said I could for a couple hours.”
Stevens nodded and he shut the door, once more. He started the bus and was finally able to pull off. Kian turned his attention to Nikki who was glancing around the tour bus.
“I never been on one.” She told him.
“Well, now you have.” Kian told her.
Nikki turned her sapphire eyes his way and gave him a smile
“So, are you still trying to have fun?” Kian asked her.
“Privately, yes.” She said. “Do you smoke?”
Kian nodded and Nikki got up from square table with her bag in her hand. Kian got up as well and followed her to the back where the one bedroom was. He wrapped his arms around her, guided her into the room. He closed the door behind them and he removed himself from her. She glanced around the burgundy red room before she took a seat on the California King bed that was put in there. She opened the bag and she brought out two glass bottles of Vodka and she brought a weed pipe with a nice size bag filled with weed. Kian looked down at the bed and then he glanced up at her.
“So, you’re really trying to get me there?” He asked her.
“I thought you could use some fun before your next concert.” She said, pushing her blonde hair behind her shoulders. “Is that okay?”
Kian nodded. He glanced down at his phone when he felt another vibration on his leg.
Vince: Are you going live?
Kian forgot about that. He turned to Nikki, who was putting the weed in the pipe for them. She removed a pink BIC lighter from her purse and she placed it over the weed pipe.
Kian: Yeah….
Vince: With her?
Kian watched Nikki take the first hit of the weed. The smoke lifted into the air as she puffed. Kian turned back to his phone.
Kian: Why not? Not the first time I made a movie…
Kian turned back to Nikki and smiled. She handed the weed pipe to Kian and it was his turn to take a hit. He took a deep hit off the weed, then released it slowly.
“I’m about to go live.” He told her after removing the smoke from his lungs. “You want to join me?”
“If you want me to.” She said.
He took another hit before returning it to her. He picked up one of the Vodka bottles and he opened it up.
“Can I?” He asked her.
“It’s for you and me, anyways.” She said.
Kian nodded and took a gulp of the clear liquid that burned all the way down to his stomach. Nikki placed her hand on his pants, stroking the print that was visible just now. Kian stopped drinking and handed the bottle to Nikki. While she drank, Kian removed the shirt from his body, tossing it on the ground. He picked his phone up and set everything up. Once he pressed the white button on his screen, everybody was going to see everything that he was doing that night and who he was about to do. He just hoped Nikki was ready for the things that was going to happen.
