ALMOST twelve in the evening when she finished her work. May konti pang natira pero mamaya na lamang niya ito tatapusin.
She went outside her room. She went downstairs and headed to the kitchen.
Natigilan siya nang makita si Kei. He was having his tea while looking at his phone.
Huminga siya nang malalim. He ignores him and walk towards the fridge. Kumuha siya ng fresh milk.
"Why are you still awake?" Kei suddenly asked her.
"May tinatapos lang akong trabaho," sagot niya at kumuha ng cookies sa jar.
"You should not do that at home."
"Why? Bakit naman hindi? Uso na ngayon ang work from home."
"Idiot. That's different." Sinimangutan niya ito at umupo sa high chair. She starts eating her cookies.
"Ikaw? Bakit gising ka pa?"
