I watch in horror as the needle plunges into Jake's neck. I hand my twins to the Alpha King and Queen quickly. I felt myself lose control of my temper and Sequoia shifted before I could stop her. She was huge. I could feel the power coming off of her. She snarled as she lunged toward John. He had shifted into Xavier when he saw Sequoia lunge. She sank her teeth into his side roughly as the blood oozed out the sides of her mouth, she shook her head vigorously. Xavier's paw and claws swiped at her side.
