Lennox wanted to follow after the Alpha scum and rip him to shreds. I agreed with him, but I knew we had to be prepared. He wanted to start a war and that was not something we were prepared for. Especially since the Alpha King is his cousin. It would take time. We walked over to our mate, she looked so pale and shaken up. We leaned down and picked her up bridal style, she snuggled into our embrace and sighed. She looked sick and was trembling. She was so weak. I took her to our room.
