I was having such a strange dream. I was running through the forest in the dark, but I had no idea what forest it was. I felt like I was being chased, but... it was thrilling and not terrifying. Like I was playing a game with a friend. Or running from someone that I most certainly wanted to catch me.
There was a Shifter chasing me. I don't know many Shifters, but this one is different. He could change into any kind of animal, which was so unusual. Shifters don't work like that. It shouldn't be possible.
Shifters can change into species of animals. Like, any kind of bird, any kind of serpent, any kind of bear, that sort of thing. Never, can they change into any kind of animal they want.
Which was partly how I knew I was dreaming.
