"You sure you want to be back here?" Piper asked me as I walked into my bedroom. I tried not to sigh out loud. "Where else would I go?" I asked her. Piper shrugged and then leaned against the door frame. "I'm a bit surprised that you didn't go with Bexley," she said. "Ya know, since you feel so guilty and all." Okay, now I sighed out loud. Then I swirled around to face my sister, who was only older by six minutes. She raised a brow at me, but I wasn't intimidated in the slightest. "What would you know about how I feel?"
