Time passed slowly as we waited for Thalassa's return. Minutes turned into hours, but still, there was no sign of her reflection in the mirror.
I felt very anxious and I wondered what was going on over there in the astral realm. I paced back and forth across the room, unable to shake the sense of foreboding that hung heavy in the air.
I turned to the seer, desperation creeping into my voice. "Is everything alright? Why hasn't Thalassa returned yet?"
The seer's brow furrowed in concern as he closed his eyes, his features drawn into a deep frown. "It seems that Thalassa is facing some troubles in the astral realm," he murmured. "But do not worry, Alpha Matteo. I will do everything in my power to assist her and ensure her safe return."
His words offered little comfort, but
