Despite our efforts, luck was not on our side. No matter how closely we scrutinized the footage, the angles and obstructions prevented us from getting a clear view of the woman's face. It was frustrating, to say the least.
Feeling a sense of defeat creeping in, I suggested checking the footage from the outside camera in hopes of catching a glimpse of the woman before she entered the restaurant.
As we switched to the outside camera footage and watched intently, my heart sank once again. The woman was wearing sunglasses, shielding her face from view as she approached the entrance. Just when it seemed like she might take them off, she entered the restaurant, obscuring our chance of identifying her.
