The maid's plea fell on deaf ears as Lucas caught her by the arms, his grip firm and unyielding. "We heard everything," he said sternly, his voice laced with authority. "We know that you have been plotting with that man to frame Luna Thalassa and create a rift between her and the Alpha."
The maid's eyes widened in fear, her facade of innocence crumbling under Lucas's relentless gaze. "No, you-you're mistaken. I-I don't know what you're talking about," she stammered, her voice trembling with desperation. "I haven't done anything wrong. Please, let me go."
But Lucas' grip on her arms tightened slightly as he pressed her for answers. "Don't play dumb," he warned, his tone firm. "We heard every word. Now tell us who your boss is and what her plans are."
