He could’ve gone to the hospital earlier and not have to worry either. Taking in Isabelle’s daywalker’s blood gave him the ability to walk under the sun but she did warn her that it might be just for a day unlike the effect of Heleina’s blood which lasted for days. That made him think of the possibility that Heleina was a daywalker herself. If not, she’s definitely not a normal human. How else would her blood work that way if she wasn’t? He had tasted human blood before but nothing worked like how their blood did.
