Heleina sat quietly by his father’s side while holding to his hand gently, taking care not to squeeze on to the IV that was buried under his pale skin.
When she came with Carl at the hospital earlier, she was still hesitant. But as they came closer to the place, her body started to tremble and her hands became sweaty. She was having anxiety attacks. She held her breath as Carl guided her to the room where her Dad was in.
Heleina couldn’t contain her tears when she saw him lying unconscious on the hospital bed. Different machines where hooked to John’s body to monitor his condition including an oxygen tank.
