He laughed. "You could have joined us."
I shook my head. "I don't think your friends would have appreciated that" I pointed out.
"They wouldn't have had any say," he said smugly "Being an Alpha wolf has its perks and I'll be Alpha of the pack soon" he added.
"I know," I said softly startling him.
We rounded a corner and started up the extremely long driveway to the house. I wriggled in Logan's arms and he hastily put me down. "Thank you for the um, lift home," I said blushing "but as you can see I'm alright and you can go rejoin your friends" I added, darting my eyes around. My mother thank goodness and my father was nowhere to be seen and fingers crossed would remain in the house until Logan had left.
