Chapter 32
Natalie and Etta were impatiently waiting for Ryker to speak with them.
“Do you think he will show, Nattie?” Etta asked her cousin.
“Yes. I don’t care what they’re saying about being mates. Tigers don’t have mates. And with our numbers decreasing the way that they are, then he will have to breed with us. Plus, our heats are coming. He won’t be able to stay away from us.”
“I’m so glad you remember that we took those potions to sync our cycles together,” Etta smiled. Natalie smiled smugly, not realizing that Ryker was already aware of their impending heat cycles. The only factor that no one took into consideration was that Natalie and Etta had this planned all along.
While they were conversing with each other, they heard the door to the dungeon open and close.
