When Wyatt, Lanie, and Lexie reached the Golden Moon packhouse, Chad and Richard were already waiting for them. The door opened, and all Lanie wanted to do was run into Chad’s arms, but she knew she couldn’t. However, she noticed one major problem when she locked eyes with him, and so did he.
“No,” Lanie opened the door and stared at Chad, who was staring back, and sure enough, their mate bond wasn’t there.
