Chapter 48 “Rain, try to be inconspicuous when we go in, okay?” William told her. “Why?” Rain asked. “Because we don’t want her to know that we’re watching her.” “But that’s exactly what we are doing,” Rain retorted. “Yes, but we don’t want her to know that we’re doing it,” Olivia said, and rolled her eyes. “Were you always such a b*tch in the past?” Rain questioned and scowled at Olivia. “Excuse me?” “You’re excused,” Rain spat and ignored Olivia. Olivia clenched her teeth and wanted to zap Rain, but William stopped her because doing anything to anyone from the future could ruin their future. Olivia huffed in frustration but maintained her composure. They walked into the café where the subject they were surveilling worked, along with her teenage son. “Um, where exactly are we?”
