“Maybe we should all settle in for the night?” Damon said the moment I yawned deeply.
The sun had just set, and the stars here were unlike anything I had ever seen. Twinkling in the clear skies of the underworld, they seemed to burn brighter with each passing second.
“We’re safe here. We can all snuggle in and rest together.” Damon smiled softly at the three of us, who looked worse for wear.
We made our way into the hut high in the trees that Damon had created from the snap of his fingers, rolling into the sheets of comfort and relaxation deep into the arms of my three mates where, in this place of pure peace, my mind eased into a deep sleep.
Or so I thought.
It wasn’t until I heard Damon calling out to me that I realized my deep sleep was just another vision, a vision all four
