Kali: Within fifteen minutes of being awake, I was in Uriel and Asmodeus's grip, melting into them as I told them everything that had happened in the vision. Within that same fifteen minutes, my entire family was bursting through the front door, carrying my mother. Her hands were burned. My mind flashed backward to her lifting them, to her incinerating the being ready to kill Doris. "Mom!" I leaped from the lap of my mate, took her by the wrists, and examined the damage done to her hands and wrists. "It looks worse than it feels, I promise." I knew she was lying. I don't recall ever attempting to use my magic within a vision. I did not even think it was possible. Yet, this is more proof that I saw her do it, saw her scorch that woman. "Hush, mom. This is bad. Luckily, I can fix it.
