Alex wiped his forehead and stared up at the bright taunting sun in exhaustion. Serenity had been gone for two weeks and there was no sign of her. They had all continued to look for her, but Damien could no longer leave the castle to go on searches. The kingdom still had to be run, so it was up to him, Leon, and Josh to search for her. Josh had been gone for over a week, he left on his own, with no soldiers. He did not want to concentrate on anything but searching for Serenity and he couldn’t do that worrying about having others in tow. They were all tired and filled with worry.
