The four of them rode into the castle grounds and were met by Llyssa. Serenity hopped off of her horse and rushed to give her a hug. The two girls laughed and cried for a few moments before the men reached their sides.
“I was not expecting you here already. Damien said it wouldn’t be for another day or two.” Llyssa said excitedly.
“I wanted to make sure she was back because I knew how much Damien had been missing her. Speaking of Damien, where is he? I figured he would have been out here to meet us?” Alex looked around noticing he was nowhere to be seen.
“I think he is lying down. As you know, he hasn’t been sleeping much and finally had a quiet moment.” Llyssa was not happy that Damien was worried, but she was glad to see that he was, since it showed how much he did care about Serenity
