Serenity laid her head against Damien’s chest, her eyes were closed and sweat beads were formed on her forehead. Her small frame lightly trembled as surges of pain continued to wash over her. She really just wanted to heal it herself, but she didn’t want to be left unconscious and she wasn’t sure if she would be, plus this would help her understand how she will heal in the future. She slowly opened her eyes and was met with Alex’s soft gaze.
“You still with us Wren?” Alex asked out softly.
“Unfortunately, yes.” Serenity stared down towards her leg that had swollen.
