“I’ll shift to my wolf, that way we can get there much faster,” I said as we left the infirmary, after saying goodbye.
“But I can’t shift, how will I go?” she asked. We hadn’t talked much after our kiss. A kiss that only flared our urge to devour her.
“You can ride Max, my wolf, but you’ll have to hold onto him firmly.”
“I’m not sure it’s a good idea.”
“Walking will take much longer; it won’t be a bad ride. We won’t let you fall, sweetheart.” I grinned at her, making her sigh.
