Alice POV
I am having dinner at Lisa’s place when Kate is calling my phone.
“Hello?” I answered. Lisa look at me with her eyes asking for who it is. I showed her Kate’s name in the screen. Lisa nodded her head. Since we are eating, I loud speak the call.
“Alice, are you with Lisa?”
“Why?” I ask back.
“Didn’t you have class today? Did she come to class?” She asks again. I reported to Kate, for the last two days that Lisa didn’t come to class.
“Uhm, yes. Why?”
“Have you talked to her?” she asks.
“Yes,” I look at Lisa’s reaction. She’s shaking her head. Indicating that she doesn’t want Kate to know that we talked.
“But only about the subject” I lied… again. For Lisa’s sake.
“Hmm, I see. Lisa texted me just now. Uhm, what should I reply?” Kate asks.
Huh? Why is she asking me this?
