After long hours working at the office, I did not realise it was close to midnight that I had finally reached my penthouse. Of course, I had to detour to enter a random building’s basement and exit using another car with several decoys. I knew for a fact that I was being followed.
I had guessed someone had figured out that Akira was indeed Melina Cage. Also, I was sure Charles sent men to follow me. The situation out there was not where Akira should be.
I smirked to the thought of Charles getting back with Akira. I would destroy Charles if he got near my Akira. I was not going to lose her to him or any other man.
As I entered my place, I could smell a hint of her sweet scent filling up the hallway. A mix of lavender and rose.
I smiled. Knowing she finally got out
