(Group Two, Narrative POV)
Xavier and Asrai’s Group.
Xavier glanced around, realizing Xeraphina had teleported their group to the back of Sjofn’s camp. That was not the plan. He felt he should keep up with Xeraphina, fighting by his twin's side. Asrai was pissed as well, knowing full well that Xeraphina did this on purpose. She was trying to protect them, have leaders in case anything happened to her. What she didn’t know was that Xavier and Asrai were too attached to her to allow her to leave them. One way or another, they would rule by her side or not at all.
Xavier and Asrai gazed into each other’s eyes, memorizing each other’s features and coming up with a plan. They were both in agreement that they wouldn’t allow Xeraphina to do this alone, even if it meant their deaths.
