I stood watching Hazel as she lay sleeping, it had been long since I saw her this comfortable and relaxed. When I was in the vessel she slept only a few hours. She was always alert and usually exhausted. I couldn't do much even when I was bothered, but now things were different. My form was complete and I had an independent body of my own.
I moved to a corner and extended my hand. I took in a deep breath channeling the energy inside of me. I opened my eyes when fire erupted from my hand.
