I watched as my dad walked into the restaurant, his eyes scanning the dining room floor before landing on me and Ronan.
That's when I saw the excitement in his eyes. Not from seeing me though, it was from seeing Ronan beside me.
I couldn't help but feel disappointed as that realization sunk in. Before I could let that fully sink in, Ronan was right there, wrapping his arm around my shoulders tightly.
