I sped through the yellow light just as it turned red causing my hand to grip the steering wheel tighter. I raced my way straight back to Sage, feeling this anxiety from being away from her eating me alive. I already memorized how to get there and I swear each minute that ticked by was pure f*****g torture.
I spent way too long talking with Adrian..and then he asked me to go with him to get Millie's ring, which was pretty awesome I won't lie..but between that and running to the store to get a few things, it has already been three hours since leaving Sage's place.
Then there was the text she sent..I knew the longer I stayed away, the higher chance there would be that doubts would start to creep their way inside of her.
