Jesse watched as, true to her prediction, a blonde woman stepped into the room holding a gun in her hand. She was tall, thin and if Jesse were honest, had spent far too much time in the sun, her skin almost leathery. Torben was still jostling with anger in his chair, but Jesse ignored him and the grunts he was making through the gag in his mouth.
