I don’t know why I spoke to Anya that way, but I couldn’t just digest the fact that her husband makes her so happy, whereas, here I am trying to make up my mind about my fiancé. I felt bad for hurting her with my words, but you know what they say, ‘words once spoken cannot be taken back’. Apologizing was not enough for what I said “I really am sorry for what I said earlier, Angela. Lunch? I know it is not enough to make up for what I said but at least it would be a start” I messaged her hoping to god that she will accept my pathetic excuse of an apology.
It doesn’t take long for my phone to chime “Glad to know that you realized, that lunch doesn’t cover for what you said however I am not one to refuse free lunch!”
