My walk to my room is long and cold. My throat is throbbing and it is becoming hard to breath. I bring a hand to my neck, rubbing over the swollen bruises. Alex was going to kill me for this. I needed to hide it, to make him believe that nothing happened in the first place. I never used my powers, I needed him to believe that they never even existed.
