Christopher eyes went wide with surprise. He couldn't hide how much of a surprise Roxanne's presence was to him. Unlike how she had been looking three weeks ago, Roxanne was looking much more lovely and vibrant.
The bruises that had been inflicted the time he kidnapped her had faded away. Her Injured wrist had healed up and most of all, her skin seemed to be glowing with nutrients. It was like the skin of a young teenager rather than a grown adult woman.
But despite all this changes, Christopher could only focus on the smile of mockery that settled on her lips as she stared at him, taking in and enjoying his reaction of surprise.
"You..." He finally formed his first words. "How did you get here?"
"Is that really important?" Roxanne asked and took a step forward. She took in Christopher
