The next morning, while Lance and Roxanne were still sleeping in the comfort of each other's arms, they were suddenly awoken by the sound of someone banging on the front door.
The sound jolted them both awake, mostly Roxanne who has always been alert when it comes to sleeping. She looked around rubbing her eyes, wondering who the mad person banging against the door could be.
The banging continued as she turned over and shook Lance fully awake.
