   I fight the ice that was now at my knees, pulling on my legs. But it is not working. I let the sword flame white pouring my power into it. I strike the ice disintegrating it. I jump into the sky, my eyes on Zulan as he fights not to be hit again. But my opponent shoots the ice at him relentlessly, cornering at every opportunity. I need to get to him, I think desperately. My shoulder blades itch, and I feel pain shoot through me as my wings rip through my back. I scream as the change comes over me.
