"Stop," I kept ignoring their sounds.
"Val, you can not ignore us forever."
I let out a sigh and stopped once I reached the door of the room where I was staying with Rosabella. I was luckily able to dodge everyone's questions until dinner but after that Carter and Adrian did not wait.
I tried to leave but they kept following me.
The dinner was already awkward where three Adrian and Carter kept looking at me.
"Can we talk tomorrow? I am very tired," I tried to get away from the conversation once again.
"No," Carter approached me in a hurry, "you did not think it was worth mentioning that you were pregnant?"
"Well, I.."
"What if something happened to you or the baby, what was I supposed to tell Killian?" Adrian continued without letting me finish what I was going to say.
