Shanaia looked at the paper Ivan was holding and then at the scroll in Joaquin’s hands. She frowned, snatched the paper from Ivan’s hand, and placed it next to the scroll. Crane took the plates off of the counter and placed them next to the sink before they all stood around the kitchen counter. Standing there, they can see the striking similarity between the illustrations in the scroll and the paper from Ivan; both of them contain drawings of what looked like creatures. Joaquin looked at Ivan and asked. “Where did you get that paper?” “Connor sent it. I just got it from my office when I came to get my laptop,” Ivan answered. “What is that anyway?
