Joaquin laid flat on the floor after Massimo called for a break. He has been trying to connect to his duplicate’s mind but so far, he hasn’t been able to do it. Yes, he managed to find an opening but not a connection.
“You don’t have to push yourself to the brink of exhaustion,” Massimo said.
“But I need to do this. So, that I can have a bit of edge against Adano,” Joaquin replied.
“You have an advantage against him. You are a deity’s son, biological son. His flesh and blood and you have the raw power of the gods. You just have to learn how you will be able to get it out,” Massimo said.
Joaquin sat up and looked at Massimo.
