The portal stood open as the team looked back at those who would be left behind.
“Good luck to all of you,”
Queen Zab said and then they bowed their heads in response.
“Wait!”
They turned around and saw Zander’s mate Aria with her brother Armano.
“Sorry, we are so late. Someone has slept through his alarm,” Aria said, elbowing her brother’s side.
“Sorry,” Armano spoke, lowering her head.
Aria noticing the opened portal went to her mate.
“Be careful there,” she said.
Zander nodded and then he kissed her before whispering to her ear. When Zander pulled away, he turned towards Shanaia and Joaquin.
“By the way, this is Armano; one of Aria’s older brothers,”
Zander introduced him, then he looked at his brother-in-law.
