Jedediah was speechless. He stared with genuine care and concern at his long-time friend, who was not only emotionally manipulated but physically hurt by someone who was supposed to love and care for him. Jedediah was even more embarrassed and ashamed that this person was his sister.
“I’m sorry, Seth. I should have handled the situation better. Had I known she would be this way, I never would have gotten so angry at you for rejecting her. I don’t know if you can hear me, but whatever your decision is going forward, I will back you up. You deserve Izzy and Yazzy, and they in turn deserve you. If you do wake up, you get to decide her punishment for hurting you and attacking the twins. But if by chance the goddess calls you home, then Paulie will be banished. N
