“So, the Queen is asking that I make a victim impact statement at your father’s trial?” Erica asked to make sure she understood Deacon correctly. Deacon nodded. “Deacon, I’m only one person. How is my statement going to be enough for whatever this investigation that the Royal Pack is conducting?”
“Mom, your statement already proves that two Alphas were involved. And from how Dad incriminated himself when he was being interrogated by the Queen a few weeks ago, on top of Parades’ investigation that led him to Dad in the first place,” Deacon assured.
