“Wait, I don’t understand,” Allie said in confusion as she looked up at Dorian, then at Deacon, and then at Charles.
“Jax went over Parades’ investigative notes, and she found some discrepancies,” Stephen clarified.
“What kind of discrepancies?” Dorian asked.
“Wait, who’s Jax?” Allie questioned instead.
“She’s one of the Beta Bounty Hunters for the Royal Pack, but she’s also skilled in forensics. She’s dealing with some personal issues, but she offered her abilities when asked. It seems that this pack was next on the Inspector’s list, but he never quite made it out here,” Amelia replied.
