As Jedediah and everyone at Red Mountain were getting prepared for Adelina’s trial in Jedediah’s office, Dani received a 9-1-1 text message from Allie.
“What in the world?” Dani said as she looked at her phone.
“What is it, Mon Cheri?” Andre asked when he saw her furrow her brows.
“It’s Allie. She says that she needs me to grab Monique and get to Desert Moon ASAP,” Dani replied.
“Why?” Everyone asked.
“No clue. But if Allie’s asking for help, then it must be urgent. I’ll be right back,” Dani quickly said, and shimmered out of Jedediah’s office. She went to the nursery where a nanny was watching Monique, promptly took her hand, and shimmered to Desert Moon. When she landed in the living room, she could hear everyone shouting Sawyer’s name.
