Third Person
“How did he die?” Dorian asked. After Aries notified authorities about the body he found by the motel where Lynx and Tabitha were hiding out, he called Dorian.
“Medical Examiner on site said that he was killed execution-style—one shot to the back of the head.”
“What the f*ck?” Dorian grumbled. “When the f*ck did this a*shole get a gun?”
“I don’t know,” Aries mumbled in return. “I was able to pick up his scent from the room he was staying in, but then it dawned on me that’s why he must have carjacked the human. The human’s scent would cover theirs.”
“Aries, you have just under two days to find them,” Dorian said in a tone that told Aries there was no more time to waste.
