And to make matters worse, she had begun to feel as though Maquand seemed a bit more clingy than he once was. “Clingy? Or watchful?” When Katya said this, Royce had to reevaluate her choice of words. Careful consideration caused her to realize that there was definitely credence to what her beastly counterpart had said.
