Calin paced the length of the meeting room, his mind racing. He had summoned the pack, desperate for answers, for a plan. Yet, as the room filled with expectant faces, a sense of frustration washed over him.
"Apollo," he began, his voice urgent, "what else do you know?"
“She wasn’t able to give but so much information, before having to return,” he said of his visit with Nabila. “The girl was terrified. I can’t imagine how much courage it took to betray her alpha.”
“I agree,” Calin stressfully replied. “Unfortunately, it doesn’t change the fact that we have very little information to go on. We need to get to her, as soon as possible.”
