Flower's face beamed when she saw who was the one who caught her hand. "Uncle Nicholas," said Flower.
Nicholas crouched down in front of Flower and stroked the little girl's cheek. "Hello little Flower, what are you doing here alone?" he asked softly.
"I came with my mother and Sky. My mother received an invitation from her friend, while she had promised to take care of Sky and I came home from school early, so she brought us both here. Did you also receive an invitation?" said Flower quickly.
Nicholas laughed. He stood up and took Flower into his arms, then took her to sit on one of the chairs in the terrace garden.
"Yes, I also received an invitation, even though I don't really like parties," said Nicholas.
"Have you met mommy, uncle Nicholas?" asked Flower in a serious tone.
